22nd Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival

September 12 and 13, 2009 • 10 am to 4 pm

About the Festival

The Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival is held in Wells, Maine each September on the weekend after Labor Day. This prestigious event allows nearly 100 artisans, selected by jury, to exhibit their wares to thousands of browsers. Music, food, and environmental education round out the 2-day festival, which takes place on the spectacular Laudholm campus of the Wells Reserve.

Attending the Crafts Festival

The Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $7 ($5 for Laudholm Trust members). Neither smoking nor pets are allowed on the site.

Exhibitors

Applications are mailed in January for the current year's festival. Selections are made by committee in March and applicants are notified soon thereafter.

The application window for 2009 has passed.

Directions

The Wells Reserve is located at 342 Laudholm Farm Road off Route 1, just south of Route 9, in Wells, Maine. From exit 19 (formerly exit 2) of the Maine Turnpike, turn left on Route 109 to reach U.S. Route 1. Take a left and travel about 1.5 miles. Laudholm Farm Road is at the second flashing yellow traffic signal, north of Lighthouse Depot and south of the Maine Diner.
